How it’s made

Made slowly, on purpose

Every Sotooor artwork begins as a digital composition.

But it does not stay digital for long.

We use a precision plotting process that draws each line physically onto paper. The artwork is built gradually, line by line, with accuracy and control.

Nothing is printed in bulk.

Nothing is rushed.

The pace is intentional.

The plotting process

Each artwork is plotted using special quality ink on carefully selected paper.

The process is quiet and precise. You can see the lines forming gradually, building depth through simplicity.

If a piece does not meet our standard during production, it does not leave the studio.

We would rather restart than compromise.

Paper and materials

Paper choice matters more than most people realize.

We use thick, high-quality paper that holds ink cleanly and preserves detail. The surface is selected to enhance contrast and ensure longevity.

This is not thin poster stock.

It is material chosen to last.

Framing

Every artwork is framed before it reaches you.

The frames are selected for their clean profile and balanced proportions. They are sturdy, minimal, and designed to complement the artwork without distracting from it.

Each piece arrives ready to hang.

Finishing and packaging

Before shipping, every artwork is inspected carefully.

The surface is checked.

The frame is secured.

The packaging is prepared to protect the piece during delivery.

We package each order as if it were being sent to our own home.

Because once it leaves the studio, it represents us.

Small batches

Our releases are produced in small batches so we can stay close to the process.

It helps us maintain the level of quality, attention, and consistency we expect from every piece.

We keep the quantity limited for one reason:

To do the work well.
